Another early start to the day today, we are off to Salisbury cathedral, Stonehenge and Bath. It was a long bus journey to Salisbury but it was a lovely Cathedral, we only spent a short amount of time here but got to have a nice look through the interior and at the exterior and got to see the original Magna Carta, which was interesting considering I knew nothing about it. We then moved onto Stonehenge, apparently it lays on top of several magnetic lines and diving rods go crazy when they are used in the area, it also took 1500 years between the laying of the first stone to the last. It's a really interesting site and has a slight eeriness to it. We then moved onto my first roman ruins, the Roman baths in Bath, I could have spent many hours in the baths, reading and taking it all in, what a fascinating place and really beautiful too. If we ever come back I would like to spend a day or two in bath as its a beautiful little town that was first built in 76A.D a lot of history to be enjoyed.
