Cordoba was a stop like Pisa, we just went to the main site, saw it, and left. Cordoba is home to supposedly one of the greatest Islamic building in the western hemisphere, ironically which is now a cathedral. The Mezquita mosque was converted to a catholic cathedral when the Christians expelled the Moors from Spain. So it's basically a mosque that now includes a mini cathedral in the middle of it and dozens of chapels on the outer ring of the building, making it one of the most unique cathedrals we've seen in Europe. It doesn't look very magnificent from the outside because it's not very tall, it's just very long and wide, with ceiling only about 30 feet at most parts. However, the inside is very cool because it has hundreds of pillars and arches from when it was a mosque. Definitely worth the visit.
