We made a quick stop in Triberg to see a little more of the Black Forest. Triberg is located in the heart of the forest so we got a better feel of the area. The two biggest cuckoo clocks in the world were supposed to be here but it turned out that they were both several miles outside town, so thanks to their tourist office for lying to us about that. We didnt see either. However, we did see the largest waterfall in Germany, but it was really just a mountain stream that happened to start at the top of a large hill. Regardless, we had some good hikes around the area within the Black Forest. The highlight of the city was the Black Forest Smoked Ham which was unbelievable. It looks like raw bacon, but its actually smoked ham, so I proceeded to eat about half a pound of it while hiking. Id almost go back for more of that ham. We only spent about a half a day here, because the citys only about 5000 people but it was a good stop.
