I spent the morning running around Auckland trying to get prices for flights and trying to find a bikini.  Emma had invited me to go to Fiji with her and I was very tempted to go with her.  The plan was to chat to Mum about it and see what she thought, then if I could afford it I would go.  I caught the bus out to the airport to meet Mum and Andrew.  I had to wait about half an hour before they came out and I had my little welcome sign ready to greet them.  I had hoped to look tanned and healthy but instead was full of cold and had a very red, scabby nose and bad cough.  It was great to see them both!!! We left the airport and headed into the city.  Mum and Andrew had showers but then I dragged them out for a walk around the harbour area to make sure they didn't fall asleeep.  I didn't want them to get jetlagged so had to keep them moving.  We had a fairly quiet evening, just got some dinner then all went to bed.16/08/06After a quick breakfast, we headed up the skytower to check out the views of the city.  We watched a few people doing the skyjump but both me and Andrew decided not to do it!  After lunch, Andrew went off shopping on his own and I booked my flights to Fiji.  I had decided that I could afford to go and the timing of the trip would work out well.  I would fly to Nadi the day after Mum and Andrew flew home.  We had another early night after going out for dinner as everyone was still feeling a bit exhausted.
