After breakfast at the hostel we had a walk around some of the older parts of Rotorua. We then went to Whakarewarea thermal village where we saw a geyser and also watched another Maori performance. Then it was time to leave Rotorua and head for Whakatane. We didn't spend long in Whakatane itself but carried on to Opotiki where we were spending the night.
