On our way out of Long Beach we noticed lots of red bull vans around and music so we decided to park up and take a look at what was going on! It turned out to be red ill flugtag which as an event in which people build objects which can be pushed at speed off of a pier! It was really cool to watch, most fell down straight away but one (built by an ex rocket scientist flew for 255yards beating the world record!!
From here we headed up to Venice beach which was a really cool place! Very vibrant and busy! We went to the gym that Arnold Schwarzenegger got famous at and watched some tennis and basketball! I couldn't get over how people were able to prescribe you weed on the street! No Mum we did not buy any!
Later on that evening it was time to say goodbye which was rubbish! I hate goodbyes and I really did not want Dan to leave but I was very lucky that he was able to come over! After many tears Dan left, luckily I was able to Skype my mum and dad who are in Sri Lanka. Once my puffy eyes had gone down I went downstairs and had dinner, it was odd eating alone! Tearful goodbye are exhausting so I was asleep by 9.30pm!
