Today we went to 'Mandys' a typical American breakfast dinner. It was a little rough around the edge so I was quite surprised when the waitress asked dan and I if we were on our honeymoon. I quickly clarified with Dan that if it was our honeymoon I would have liked to hope that we would be in a 'prittier' place :) from here we had a little fiasco with filling the car up with petrol! We firstly parked on the wrong side for the fuel hole, then we couldn't get the pump to work so we drove to another station. This station wouldn't expect either card for some reason so we drove to another, and luckily this one worked and in the mean time Dan had had a little tantrum, I remained calm and suggested that worse thing in the world could happen but I guess to a man, cars and the manly things that go with them are important! After that short episode we headed to Laguna beach. As you can probably tell driving for miles and getting lost has become a common occurrence for us. But today we had a breakthrough! After about an hour of getting lost I realised that we had been reading the road signs the wrong way! I don't think anyone will be surprised by this from me, but after we realised we our journeys became a lot shorter! Not turning off of the road that you want to be on 100 times!! Lol!
On the drive to Laguna beach we stopped at Huntington Beach which seemed popular with the local surfers! An old tramp obviously on drugs called Dan Tom Cruise and me Jennifer Aniston as we walked past which made us both laugh! When we got to Laguna beach we went for a walk along the beach, they make you walk through a 5* resort to get to the beach which doesn't seem fair...it's like 'look where you could be if you were rich!' I picked the wrong time to take the mic out of Dans earlier tantrum and got thrown in the sea!! I love having him with me here :) we went out for a lovely meal in a nice area! :)
