Today we headed to Tennesse, after setting up camp we went white water rafting which was epic! It was so much fun but so scary! Many times down the river I grabbed hold of our rafting guide! I'm not sure if he appreciated this but it made me feel much safer! A few of the other boats lost people over board, one girl and guide fell out of the boat, the guide got out of the rapid okay but the girl got stuck so our raft guide ordered us to paddle over the top of her, after we did this and she was rescued successfully out raft guide explained that we had to boat on the top of her so that we could flush her out of the rapid! This was a little scary! Later down the rapids our guide let us all jump into the water which was so lovely! And so surreal! Further down, our guide put Felicity and I at the front of the boat, we had to tuck in the front and hold onto the rope, we flew through the rapids bouncing up high! My adrenaline was certainly after this!
That evening we went to the weirdest bar that I have been to, it was like a warehouse with hula hooping, board surfing, and a live band. The bar was made out of wood and aluminium sheets! There was a huge storm forecast but luckily we only got the thunder and lightening and no rain! Few!
Today (1st September) we are heading further down south getting closer to New Orleans! We have just visited Jack Daniels distillery, we had a tour around it and got to see how the whiskey is made at every step!
