Today we left Vegas but today was also the day that I was going to see Dan!!! I was super excited which made the journey feel like it was taking forever!! We eventually got to Hollywood at 3pm. As we were driving past the Chinese theatre I spotted Dan so by the time we had parked I was half way out of the van!! I ran down the road and almost ran straight past him!! It was so surreal that he was there! I couldn't stop hugging him!! We checked out the Hollywood stars and the Hollywood sign and then headed to Dan's car, a ford mustang! Now I'm not very knowledgable on cars but this was a pretty sweet car! It was navy blue with white stripes down the edge! We set off to the hacienda hotel which is where we were meeting the rest of my trek group! It was meant to be a 30 min drive....2hours later we got there! We put the address into the sat nav wrong twice! Once I took over I put the correct address in and we got there....yes mum and dad you are probably shocked that I managed to resolve the situation with my awful sense of direction but I was quite proud of myself!!
I said my goodbyes to everyone which was sad as everyone has made such good friends and became like a family unit! But I'm sure we will meet more good people along the way!
