Today we arrived in Melbourne, and set up camp at Ashley Gardens Big 4 caravan park. It's a large place with nice big grassy sites, a huge camp kitchen and a heated outdoor pool (but sadly not warm enough!). Even though we arrived here early (9:30am) we didn't do much today. This morning we completed the rest of the Great Ocean Road which was a nice drive along the coastline. The predicted thunderstorms never arrived so we had quite a nice day. We drove by Bells Beach at Torquay but only viewed it from above as it was a fair climb down. Lorne looked like it would be a great holiday destination and I would stop here next time through. I am so glad we held off a day to do this drive as we do have some blue skies which makes it so much better. It was really busy with tourists the whole way along but we still managed to get parking fine with our caravan on. Everything was really good to see. A rainy day spent in a shopping centre and indoor pool to stay out of the rain.

Today was an easy but busy day. Matt installed a new thermofan and the boys and I baked brownies. Once the car was up and running we took a drive around town and stopped by the beach for a while. Then it was back for a swim in the indoor pool and spa.
