We had a big day walking around Melbourne city today so are running low on energy this afternoon. We parked at Docklands and then caught the free city circle tram. The plan was to go the the RAAF museum and watch a flying display however time got away and we missed it! So we tried going for a swim in the apparently heated pool but it was still too cold. After inquiring, we were told that one heater is broken at the moment and they are waiting on parts so it is only half heating at the moment. We went for a drive to the Mornington Peninsula today. Took the highway to Frankston, then followed the coast road down to Portsea. The beaches down here are amazing, and the houses are huge. Portsea is one of the richest postcodes in Australia. Rye was my favourite spot and would love to stay here a while. We headed into the city this morning driving through the industrial area near the large shipping terminals and went into Science Works museum. This was great for the boys with so much to see and do. We also watched a movie in the planetarium. However, I think the Perth Scitech was much bigger and the planetarium show was much better. Today Matt went on a bus tour with the Positive Real Estate group, to look at developments around Melbourne, and had a Degustation lunch and wine tasting in the Yarra Valley all complimentary. I just hung out at the caravan park with the boys all day.
