Today we arrived in Melbourne, and set up camp at Ashley Gardens Big 4 caravan park. It's a large place with nice big grassy sites, a huge camp kitchen and a heated outdoor pool (but sadly not warm enough!). Even though we arrived here early (9:30am) we didn't do much today. We did drive across the city this afternoon to pick up something we bought online and that was adventurous. The city is crazy to get around with hook turns and trams stopping in the middle of the road with pedestrians walking across lanes of traffic to board/exit the tram. Everyone seems to have this tolerance of stopping all the time such as when an older lady decided to cross four lanes of traffic with a pram and forced everyone to stop in a random location. No one seemed to care and I thought it was rather dangerous. Then cars are parked sporadically in the left lanes on busy roads which I think should be a clearway and in the right lane, every second person turns right stopping all the traffic behind them.
