Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
The plan was to go the the RAAF museum and watch a flying display however time got away and we missed it! So we tried going for a swim in the apparently heated pool but it was still too cold. After inquiring, we were told that one heater is broken at the moment and they are waiting on parts so it is only half heating at the moment. The upside is that when we asked them about it they offered us a free turn in the spa. Which at most places this is free, however here they have a bit of a ridiculous system of paying $10 for one hours use. It also includes use of sauna within that hour but it is still expensive and annoying to have to book a one hour block. Anyway, it was great for free!
We are doing alright at the moment with getting things free or cheap. As well as the spa, I got extra cheap prices to stay at the park by getting the online special which isn't advertised elsewhere but then booking in person which they then had the leniency to not charge for the kids when online they would have cost an extra $20/night. So I am happy to pay $35 per night especially compared to the other Big4 (which is the same distance to the city) that wanted $85 per night for us to stay!
