Woke early this morning due to a bad dream about snakes!! Nick was awake too and it was cold outside so we stayed in bed and read for a while. Ten minutes later three other bodies were in our bed and Nick and I moved outside for coffee!! The sun soon came out so we put some washing on and Nick went off to the bakery for some fresh bread. We had a very slow start to the day with a long breakfast and then the kids went off to play in the Mulberry trees again with the owners' children. Once we'd cleaned up the van and Anna had dried all the breakfast dishes beautifully (and put them away!) we went into town for an explore. We found a lolly shop and everyone was allowed to pick something. Then we went and walked off all the sugar by exploring the marina around Lake Butler. We went back home for lunch and the kids ran off to play again while I did our accounts - very depressing! Around 4ish we went back out for another walk and headed to Cape Dombey, walking along the cliff top path. We saw an echidna that rolled into a ball as soon as we approached. Nick could have walked further but as soon as the path became too narrow through the bush I had to turn round as I was still thinking of snakes and was only wearing thongs! We headed home for dinner and I spent the evening speaking to mum and dad. The kids had to soak their feet for ages before being allowed back in the van!
