I made two discoveries this morning - 1. This place is cheap because it is RIGHT next door to the airport. We were woken at 6am by three planes taking off in very quick succession. It didn't matter too much as we nodded back off to sleep again and eventually got up around 8am. Discovery 2 - I made coffee with the Pura Light Start that wasn't frothing and now it is. Turns out it depends on how cold the milk is and if it's been in the Engel which is colder then the fridge it works fine - suddenly our day was looking a lot brighter! How we had missed a good cup of coffee. Nick did the breakfast marathon which was only a half marathon today as the kids all wanted to go off to the playground. I started the laundry and 6 loads later I gave up for the day. At least we got one bed cleaned!! Nick spent the morning picking up a new leg for the caravan, as the new one we had bought before we left was faulty (bloody Jayco!) and I started school!! The boys did some reading, writing and a bit of maths, Annie went over the letter S and Katharine did some English comprehension and a word search. I had had enough way before them!! After lunch we went into Glenelg for an explore - it's a fantastic suburb, full of life and lots to look at. I found a much needed beautician while Nick took the kids for an iceceam, then we walked along the beach to the lock and watched a boat go through. We called in to Woollies on the way home for dinner and got back to the van about 6pm. The kids went off to play in the water park and had a ball, while I made dinner. They then went back out to play until 930pm and were dragged in as it got dark. They love Adelaide so far!
