Everyone woke up around 6am but dozed until 8am. Beautiful morning today so we decided to walk the beach before breakfast which was magic. We were half way along the beach when we realised the date - happy anniversary, it's been 14 years!!! Nick made everyone breakfast while I washed more bedding and then it was time for school! We've decided to teach the boys one at a time, as they compete too much otherwise rather than think about the correct answer, so one goes first while the other plays and then they swap. Unfortunately it means school takes a long time for us! They all do a bit of English and then a bit of maths, the boys do a reading book and Katharine does spelling. We had lunch and then decided to head into the centre of Adelaide for a look around. We drove into Glenelg and caught the tram but it took a lot longer then I thought and the kids had had enough before we even got there. We walked along the main shopping mall and saw a few buskers, bought some more coffee pods and found a toilet. But then everyone had had enough and we caught the tram back. We had thought about visiting the botanical gardens and walking along the river but it didn't happen. Once back in Glenelg we treated the kids to an ice-cream again to make up for the dodgy afternoon and then came back to the van. The kids shot off to the playground while we had coffee then we all went to the water park. Nick made dinner and managed to burn himself and so I tidied up, then it was an early night all round.
