Last night was a formal night and we tried the dining room again. Even though we got there with another couple at 8:30, we still had to get a pager and wait to be seated. We went for our 1st dinner in the dining room last evening. It was less than a success. The company and conversation were great but the rest left a lot to be desired. Stockholm is built on several islands with one island having most of the historic and tourist attractions. We docked within waking distance of the main city. We got to the old town in time to see the changing of the guards at the Royal Palace. It was even more impressive than that in London - being done on horseback. This was a tender port. After getting off the tender we walked over to the major attraction in the city - an old fort that guarded the city. We toured the fort, walked around the city for a while and headed back to the ship for some needed R 7 R.
