Last night we had dinner in the dining room with two couples we met through Cruise Critic. This time, both the service and food were up to expectations.


Today we had a nice change of pace. After a few weeks of museums, castles, and palaces, we got to do some scenic sightseeing. I had contracted with a tour company for a tour for 12 to see the south coast of Iceland. Ten others from Cruise Critic joined us. Our guide/driver, Ludwig, took us about 300 miles. Sights included a waterfall we could walk behind and walking on a black sand beach. It was cloudy and quite windy but the sights were beautiful. The roads were definitely not crowded – there are only about 300,000 people in the entire country. So far this year they have had only four traffic fatalities. Now we are relaxing and watching the Patriots on TV. They are ahead (so far). We are 4 hours ahead of the east coast and 7 hours ahead of west coast time. We have two restful days at sea and then have 3 port days in a row – the 1st being Glasgow (Greenock), Scotland.
