We had a much needed easy day in Helsinki. It is a pretty, clean, and modern city. There was nothing specific that we wanted to see. We took the shuttle to town and walked around the downtown and port area. Bonnie found a knit hat made by a local craftsman at a large open air market near the port. After about 3 hours, we headed back to the ship for lunch and some rest.

Helsinki is a fairly new city, being established in the 1800's, so it does not have the classic look of the other cities we have been visiting. It is very clean and the people are friendly.
