Drove north along the Rhine valley to Boppard again, then cut west across to Brodenbach and followed the river Mosel to Bremm via Treis Karden and Cochem. Absolute downpours through Cochem, traffic stopped as windscreen wipers couldn't cope. Overnight at Weingut stellplatz Oester Franzen (or Esther Ranson as we called it). More heavy rain accompanied by donner und blitzen. Took Bella for a run through the vines and walked around the lovely little town with plenty of Weinguts and good walking trails but unfortunately the weather was against us.
