Another standard sea day. The clocks went back an hour over night, so we’re now 3 hours behind the UK. Amazingly, Rio is only 2 hours behind. For what it’s worth Barbara and I usually do just over 3.2 laps of the Promenade Deck after breakfast. That’s a mile.

Since my last cruise with P&O, they’ve introduced spirit flights. They’ve always had wine flights in the Glasshouse, but now they’ve introduced gin and whisky flights. Rob and I have already had a wine flight, so today we thought, being gin drinkers, we’d have a gin flight. The only bar that does these is Anderson’s, so there we went. Anderson’s doesn’t open until 17:00 and we’d arranged to meet at 15:00! So a second wine flight was had instead and very nice it was instead.

After dinner, we all went our various ways until Syndicate Quiz, which, in another first for us, was held in the Horizon buffet. 17/20. The winners scored a full house.
