I went to the movies today. At 9:00. In the morning! They put on a different movie daily in the Playhouse. It usually shows five or six times a day. Today it was only shown three times. I saw Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Complete hokum, but I enjoyed it.

We crossed the equator today at 2:45 am and custom dictates that we need Neptune’s permission. This was sought and the Crossing the Line ceremony took place by the Terrace Pool this afternoon. Permission was granted and the Pollywogs became Shellbacks. A Pollywog is someone who hasn’t crossed the equator.

It was tandoori night in the Horizon buffet tonight, so Barbara, Rob, Linda and I ate there. It wasn’t particularly good. The four of us then sat out by the Terrace Bar for a while before heading down to Champions for the movie quiz. We scored 26/30, the winning team beat us by two.
