After breakfast Barbara and I put our laundry on and tried to get our mile in. However, we seemed to stop and chat more than we walked. Then it was back to retrieve our washing and put them in the dryers. I also ironed my two white formal shirts. Because they only get worn for a few hours in the evening, I turn a blind eye to the slightly grubby necks and wear them twice before sending them to be cleaned.

We did very little during the day. We sat on the Promenade Deck, read, did crosswords and played games. It was also the end of this series of Battle of the Sexes. I’ll see who’s taking over as question master before deciding whether or not to rejoin the fray.

Our 4th formal night. Lobster and Cherries Jubilee. Yum! We then decamped to Carmens for the second new(ish) Binliners show. It was fun and I enjoyed it. Finally another failure at the Syndicate Quiz. We scored 12 and the winning team scored a full house of twenty!
