Day 4 - Cairns

It was so nice to wake up this morning to a beautiful nice warm sunny day. We decided we needed a little break toady after the long drive. After a slow morning, with a quick dip in the pool for the kids, we headed for a short walk to Lake Placid, only about 200m down the road. We could see the Scenic Railway up in the hills behind. We then kept walking a little further to the General Store for a few supplies.

The afternoon was nice and relaxed with a few swims and a game of cards. Sally won!
