Day 9 - Elim

It rained over night again so everything was quite wet for the pack up this morning. We travelled a nice short distance (about an hour) to Elim which is also on the coast.

We had a chance to drive through a few puddles on the way in which Jack thought was great.

We could see the "coloured sands" from the camp ground, but couldn't drive there as the tide was coming in.

We walked out to the sand bar and the kids has a lot of fun walking through the almost knee deep mud in places.

We decided to go for a little drive, but this ended in us getting bogged in the sand and the Roberts' having to help dig us out, again, Jack thought this was fantastic!

More rain at times today and warm and sunny in between the showers.

The camp ground was very basic with cold showers, and the luxury of a flushing toilet!
