Time to move on. We met up with the Roberts' at Mossman and travelled together towards Bloomfield.
We crossed the Daintree River on the Ferry and then continued on the windy road to Cape Tribulation. A quick stop at the lookout on the way and then another quick stop at the Cape Tribulation beach for a photo.
From here we joined the Bloomfield Track, a dirt road with a few (small) creek crossings, nothing too challenging which was good. There were however, some very STEEP hills, the worst of which have been conreted to help with traction. The Roberts' did very well towing their van up these hills.
We had a lunch stop in a river bed along the track and then decided to stop in at Bloomfield caravan park for the night. It was nice to be there nice and early and have a rest for the afternoon. The boys went to the wharf fishing and caught a few fish, but nothing that could be kept.
The night bought a communal camp fire and a bit of live entertainment at the small restaurant.
