Day 3 - On the road....AGAIN!
We woke up in the frost this morning - it was freezing and packing up the tent was not a happy adventure! On the road by 8:00 this morning with a quick brekkie stop at the bakery in Clermont.
We drove all day with a stop at Charters Towers for lunch, an ice-cream at the "Frozen Mango", then FINALLY we managed to get to Cairns, pulling up in the dark and setting up just in time for bed. But, at least it is warm!
We said "Goodbye" to the Roberts' today for a few days and will meet up with them again later in the week to head to Cape York.
