On the way back to Emu Park we got talking to the driver and I was asking him if there was anywhere I could do a bit of fishing. He told me a spot to try so that afternoon we went to try our luck. The beach was a fair walk away and when we got there Mel had a sunbathe while I went fishing off the rocks. After a while of no bites I was looking out into the bay and kept seeing little black things poking out of the water then going back under and popping up somewhere else. Next minute one popped up right at my feet, they were turtles and there was six or seven of them all round me and as I looked up again I saw some dolphins swimming around. Shame there was no fish though. After a few more trys and nearly catching a turtle I gave up and we walked back. That night we were knackered so we made a big massaman curry and had an early one. The next day we went on a crocodile farm tour and saw some HUGE saltwater crocs one of them was 5.2m long and weighed over a 1000kg. The guide was dangling chickens over the fence and she was dropping them into his mouth. That night a big bus load of people were coming and the hostel was putting on a big BBQ and toga party which we joined in on, the BBQ was awesome! We had salad, pasta salad, fish, prawns, sauages, burgers, steak and garlic saurce the guy who drove us to the croc park had bought us some croc ribs so he cooked them for us as well. With 10 dollar bottles of wine we soon got in the party mood, only problem was we had a bus at 8am the next morning taking us to Agnes Water.
