At 0605 the plinky Celtic strings music fades into the cabin telling us we are approaching Roscoff once again. Disembarkation goes smoothly and we drive down to the familiar aire for breakfast and coffee.
The sun is rising as we programme Snoopy and set off towards Sicily. Last time we travelled east across Brittany it was rain and autumn colours. Today is sunny and the fields are emerald green, except where the land is bright yellow from gorse and buttercups.
We have a couple of stops en route to our stop in Messac. The free aire is set between a marina and railway line but the book says trains stop running at night.
We rest for the remaining afternoon then have dinner and an early night. Really early; the lights are out at 21:40
Dinner: Spagbol
CD of the day: Slade - The Very Best of Slade
