Day 61. Salt Lake City, Utah.
We planned a long day of motorcycling today but after an hour in 4 degree weather and rain it almost came to a premature end. A Burger King saved us and enabled us to rekindle some feeling in our hands. After that we caught a gap in the clouds and pushed on. With some modifications to the route we were able to plot a course through the storms and didn't get wet (much) for the rest of the ride. In fact as we went over Bear Lake pass the sun came out and we were able to enjoy all the autumn colours. We've now arrived in Salt Lake City and we've tracked down a Japanese restaurant to avoid the burgers and fries meals that we've got used to. Jane even had a piece of carrot in hers!
