Day 78. Palm Springs, California.
It was off to Palm Springs today. As we descended from the hills the temperature rose notably and by the time we reached our hotel it was 34 degrees which is about the hottest it has been all trip. Luckily though we found a bit of respite by getting on the revolving cable car up the mountains. The cable car climbs 7000' in 10 minutes and the temperature drops by around 20 degrees. Once up we did a 5 mile walk around the state park. We've just returned from a nice Italian meal in Palm Springs (handy being near the centre) and we're ready for a nice relaxing day tomorrow before we hit the road for our last day of motorcycling.
