Day 78. Palm Springs, California. It was off to Palm Springs today. As we descended from the hills the temperature rose notably and by the time we reached our hotel it was 34 degrees which is about the hottest it has been all trip. Luckily though we found a bit of respite by getting on the revolving cable car up the mountains. The cable car climbs 7000' in 10 minutes and the temperature drops by around 20 degrees.
