It's been ages since I wrote on here, but I do have some good reasons for that i think. ;) Not everyone would be interested in reading about the Australian Open in the first place, and second, I was exhausted every day when I came back from the tennis, so I didn't have the energy to write about it.
Still we have some more days to go and the weather right now reflects my mood in a perfect way. I don't feel like going to the Open today. Yesterday I saw the semifinal doubles, with the team I have been supporting since their very first match. The longer they continued, the more you dare to dream. But it wasn't meant to be this time. They lost in 3 sets, and so I have to deal with a tennis hangover at the moment.
But it has been amazing those days, it just feels good to sit in the sun and support the players that you follow through the year, and even more when you have the chance to have a little chat with tfhem, or just being greeted.
People sometimes ask, isn't it boring to sit there every day? And the answer is no. Not a day is the same, there's always something happening and you get to meet so many people, it's fantastic. I love the Australian Open, and hope that once in the future I'll be back.
I am not sure what to do the rest of the days in Melbourne, but I am sure I find something to do. I can always book another surf trip, or maybe a winery tour. I'll see. First I need a shower and hope that the rain will stop.
Boo I miss my tennis already. :(
