What a lovely day it was today! Our day started at 5.30 am, when my alarm went off, but it was all fine because we would do awesome things today. We left the motel before 7 am and at 7.15 we were on our ways already! Everyone was dressed warm because the sun was hardly above the horizon and it was still chilly outside. We had a 2.5 hour hike to do and it was so worth it! The views from Pinnacle were amazing and for an instant I could feel again queen of the world. :D Love it, to be there at 8.30 am, when all the big groups aren't there yet, so our group of 20 had the mountain top for ourselves for a while.
Back down, we had a two hour ride till our lunchbreak, so I was glad to get something to eat beofre going back on the bus. I love the views out of the bus, with the mountains and the yellow fields, the cows and houses and all, but I fel asleep too till we were at our break. For lunch I went to the supermarket and even bought a bottle of wine to enjoy in the eve in the hostel. (no bar, so yeah after a day with such a hike I deserve a glass of wine, right? :P)
After lunch it was finally time for the Great Ocean road!!! I love this so much, on pics it was amazing, but to see for real finally, I have no words, almost my fave part of the whole trip. We went to all the famous things, the Grotto, the Lord Arche Gorge, the London Bridge and the 12 apostles for sunset. This part of the coast is called Shipwreck coast, as they say here are more than 600 wrecks on the bottom of the ocean, only two hundred something of those are actually found... Everything is so amazing, wait till u see my pics of these things.:) We had tonight our dinner in a town nearby, Princetown, and believe it or not, it only has 13 inhabitants! Amazing huh? :O
With our dinner in our stomachs we went to the beach for a walk, and to the 12 apostles for the sunset. It was a nice one tonight, and I give it a try to upload the pics later. Now time to have well deserved shower as I need to be fresh for tomorrow. We'll go to the rainforest. Oh wait, and I forgot to tell that we made our own aborinigal art souvenir today, we had to paint a little boomerang. Will see if I can make a pic and upload that ;)
Come back to you guys soon, thanks for reading my friends!! I will miss this country so much when I have to go back home. I am not ready to crash into daily life, not ready for snow and ice and certainly not ready to work again. Love my freedom so much <3
