Yes you see it good, I didn't add a blog last night because it all crashed soon as I added the picture. And i think I told you in the past that I am almost every night exhausted so I didn't have energy to start all over again, with eyes xlosing all the time.
This morning, the internet didn't work, and now it does, and I need to leave soon. It's half an hour walking and I make one stop at the supermarket to buy food and i hope to be in line earlier than yesterday. It´s quite inpressive when u arrive and see the Rod laver Arena, it´s all impressive, even the queue outside to let the bag be checked and scan your ticket.
I feel so happy soon as I enter the grounds, no nights without sleep this year, but living in the same timezone. Much better for my health. I started the day with a practice of Fernando in the morning at 10.30 am, but had to rush over to showcourt 3 for Nicolas Almagro´s match. This was the first time I got lost, but I made it with missing just one game. He must have known that I am hpeing for some great five set matches, because it became a five set match. But thankfully he won and I happened to be next to the players entrance so he could sign my flag. Nice start of the day :)
After this one I had to rush to Hisense Arena, because I already missed 3 sets of Fernando! Took a while but I made it and I got to see the last two sets of this one. For a change it took a while till Feli started so I had time off to stroll the grounds and soak up the atmosphere. That's what I love so much, just walking around and looking here and there, checking that out, and later doing something different, I happened to be in the queue for a flag on the cheek when I got a text that Feli almost started.
Right, hurry time again, and get lost time of course ^^.I missed the warm up but at least the match hadn't started before I was there, so that was good. It was great to see Feli win in straight sets, hopefully it gives the confidence he needs to advance further. I still want to see him on Rod Laver against Djokovic, I am not going to miss that one! ;)
It might not surprise you but DAvid started during Feli, so I would have never made it to the match in time anyway. So after Feli I took another circle around the courts to see some people. Sorry to say but David is not in my top 3 of players, so it wasn't necessary to be there as much as possible. In the end I saw the third set only which was fine. My flag was again on tv, so that made me smile :))
Some of the girls I hang out with during the matches went home but I joined Tess in the match of Fabio Fognini. He played a spaniard, Bautista Agut, and I think it's the doubles partner of Feli here, but I don't particularly like him, so went for Fognini. He lost unfortunately and didn't look like he cared at all.
We ended the day watching a bit of Marcos Baghdatis on Margaret Court arena, with almost everyone supporting the cypriot. I had may spanish flag to keep me warm, so it was a good thing he played Albert Ramos. Somehow all the matches I have seen this day, had one or more spaniards involved. Partly planned, partly coincidence. But all was nice. :))
Now it is 9 am and I need to leave. So I am sorry that I am not updating pics, but hey, it's no obligation so you get to see them later. I have some things to do today... can't wait to be there again! Woohoo!
