It's ridiculous how much time I need to do all my stuff on the internet every day, so let's try to make one blog of the whole weekend. The days are less do busy now, and if there is something, it's all at the same time! Yesterday was picture day, we took lots of pics with players. In my case it were only two, one with Marcel Granollers after the practice, and one with David marrero after the doubles match but anyway it's nice to build on the picture collection. :)
I haven't seen much tennis yesterday, besides the doubles match of Fernando. We left after that match to enjoy an evening somewhere else. I was inthe car already looking for my phone but could not find it anywhere and didn't remember where I put it. Later, bu7t still in the car, Tess her phone rang. It was a the chief of the cleaners and they had found my phone (with Aussie nuber) on the toilets... Pfffff this is the weirdest way ever to lose your phone, but I am so glad I got it back in the end! Especially because I topped it up with credits, and got for 150 dollars to spend on texting and talking and using internet.
It was a little bit late after our nice eve when I came back in the hostel, around 2.30 maybe, but who cares, it's saturday so it's allowed. Doesn't happen often but I was the last one to jump in my bed for the night. It was a bit hard to wake up this morning, but it finally happened at 8.45. I went to the tennis, slowly walking and enjoying a strong coffee and by the time I was there, all was good again.
my ticket for Hisense Arena gave me access to the match between Mansour Bahrami and partner against Haarhuis/Eltingh. So funny, love the legends tennis. I saw the dutchies practicing the day before, so that was nice. I could talk in dutch to them haha, it made me miss the beginning of Fernandos match, because I was hoping for a pic with them. maybe tomorrow, if I am lucky.
This morning I saw bit everywhere, some practices and match bits, before I went to the court to see the second round doubles match of spanish duo Marc and Marcel. They easily won it, so there was plenty of time to have a decent lunch on a cool place and to make a sign for Nico hehe. Not that he needed it, he literally raced through the match, untill Tipsy had to retire at the end of the second set. Such a pity, i love it that he wins, but not in this way, even though it's Tipsy...
Now I am having this problem that I don't want to leave Melbourne to go on my next trip. I'd prefer to stay here and support Nico more. He will face David Ferrer next in the QF and he never won over David in the 12 meetings before. I just wish I could be there, something that probably nobody understands :P But well, If I would not go on my tour, then I don't have accomodation for 2 nights...
Anyway, with this in mind I strolled around a little bit till it was time for the legends doubles of Leconte and Ivanisevic. So nice to have a goud laugh while watching tennis, they are so funny, you have to see it for yourself to have a proper opinion about it I guess. :) The evening ended with the girls from Melbourne, having dinner and a drink before going home. It's not 1.30 am in the morning and still the match of Djoko and Wawrinka is going on, good thing is, the ppl here support Stan. I am safe here. ;)
