So, finally a night that I am not falling asleep before I have done all that I have to do. It's now wednesday night and I am back from another amazing day at the tennis in Melbourne. It's not that hot yet, only 26 degrees, but on the courts it was a hot day. My day started with Nico Almagro winning on Hisense Arena, and then I strolled around through the park and went to look everywhere a little bit.
I am almost feeling a hired professional photographer here, because I am running from court to court, trying to please other people. But that's allright, because I was right in time at the court for Feli's match, which was on showcourt number 3 today. It's so good to see him play in the sun down under, although I have to admit that it is good in the cold too ;) Too bad that Stepanek was the better player, Feli hit a lot of balls in the net today and the serve wasn't really going well either. :( He went down in 3 sets, despite our continuous support. You gotta love those blue, blue eyes.
After this match I went on a food hunt to be ready for the last match of the day, the one of Fernando. So glad that the Aussie girls had reserved seats so i could join them and cheer on Fernando. And he did it in 3 sets , against Belgian Xavier Malisse. It always reminds me of that Dsvis Cup meeting in Charleroi. We cheered on Spain, but it was a belgian party where we ended on saturday eve. Not giving details, but that's what Xavier reminds me of. :)
Now I am back at the hostel, typing a blog and sending out photo's to several people. Not sure yet what I will do tomorrow, part of me wants to go shopping in the morning, other part wants to be at the tennis. I let the practice schedule decide. Need to charge a battery here or i can't take pics there. :) Time to say goodnight. Maybe you notice I didn't write a blog last night, that is because I didn't do something interesting. I haven't seen much tennis, mostly running through the practice courts and watching little bits. The thing that made my day was a smile in the morning of a spaniard, further I felt sick due to too much sun and somehow I didn't drink enough. Ah well, the hard life of a tennisfan. Time to say goodnight for real now. Speak tomorrow!
