Day 108 - Koh Samui

I couldn't believe my eys this morning not a cloud in the sky and the sun is hot hot hot.

We get breakfast over and done with as quickly as possible and head straight back to the room to get creamed up and make the most of the sun loungers on the room terrace.

We lay there until we honestly felt like we were cooking from the heat and kept nipping in and out of the air con in the room to have a quick cool down.

The sun began to disappear so we headed inside to get showered and head out for some tea feeling nice and fresh in our just washed clothes.

We had to do it as soon as we saw the sign and went into WALKABOUT for tea, we've both been in several walkabouts and wanted to add this one to the list.

Shock horror it was owned by an aussie but its not a patch on the one in manchester!

The alcohol ban is still supposed to be on tonight but all the aussie guys in the bar we leathered and obviously drinking beer .. we pondered ordering a beer and just playing dumb but them one of the guys ran over to the rest of them saying something about the police and they all hid their beer.

Still in curry spirit from last night I ordered a Masaman curry which is full of beef and potatoes. I was really impressed with the size of one of the potatoes in my curry and scooped it out of the bowl trying to show Si the size of it ... not concentrating on what I was doing the potato fell off the spoon back into the curry splashing the sauce all over my clean white top :( Si thought it was hilarious.

On the way back to the room we were getting hassled by everyone asking us to go and eat in their restaurant and Si joked that he should just point to my top and they'd stop bothering us knowing we'd already eaten :(

Back at the room we sampled a spot more rum before calling it a night.
