Day 67 - Gili Trawangan
Well we seemed to sleep just fine after all those cocktails last night but luckily no hangover
We go for our free brekkie and there's something on the menu called Jaffle and its been bugging us all week what it is so Si decides to be the brave one and order it. Its basically a round toatie but instead of putting things like cheese, ham and tomato in them like we would they put fried egg or banana in them and apparently they are very nice!
We decided to go back to the beach on the south of the island for our last day on Gili T and perched ourselves where we had been sat yesterday. We must have gotten here quite a bit later today as the tide is already out so we can start looking for fish etc straight away. There aren't as many crabs today but just at the shore there is a massive sea urchin under a rock with a weird looking thing all we could see was 2 long white antena's pocking out and lots of legs under the rock ... interesting.
Si had a wander out a little further and saw lots more life similar to what we saw just at the shore but he said the further you get out the bigger they get! As I was sat watching from the beach a little crab came out of its little hole just next to Si's towel and kept crawling on it and then running back in its hole and it did this for ages until Si returned. When Si got back instead of running onto the towel like it had been it just kept coming out of the hole, flicking sand on Si's towel and running back in it was well funny to watch.
We both began to feel the heat so walked back up to the strip for a nice refreshing drink and some ice cream mmmmmm.
After cooling down a bit we head back to the room as we have to pack all of our stuff up ready to leave for Gili Meno tomorrow. We pack, get showered etc and head out for our last night on Gili T which of course ended in us sampling more cocktails (Si refushed to order the lime one again though) before retiring to the room for some shut eye as we have to be up early in the morning to make the boat to Gili Meno.
