Day 76 - Gili Trawangan
That bloody cat again! About 6am it was at the door this morning even Si's ear plugs wouldn't block out the noise!
We grab some breakfast and have a walk down to the Sea Marlin shop as we have to confirm today that we will be using our return boat tickets on Thursday so we definately have a place on the boat .. everything went fine and they have now reserved 2 spots for 'Rohana' on Thursday.
After getting creamed up we decide to go and see what the pool at The Beach House is like as we're allowed to use their pool when we stay here at wrap-a-snapper (we're guessing they're owned by the same people).
The Beach House is about 5 minutes walk down the strip and when we get there we're in luck as there are a couple of the sun loungers free. We plonked our stuff down and had our room key ready to prove where we were staying in case anyone approached us about using the pool ... nobody did and we wondered if anybody could just come and use the pool but then realised its the same people that work here as at our place so think we'd been recognised.
The pool is really nice not massive or anything just big enough to do a bit of swimming and cooling off when the sun gets a bit warm. It was absolutely roasting again today so we didn't last long on the loungers and spent most of our time messing around in the pool. At one point I was lay on my lounger and felt something vibrating next to my arm, I turned around and next to me (sort of attacking my towel thinking it was a plant or something) was the biggest bee you've ever seen! I shot off the chair and hid next to Si until it was safe and the bee had gone.
After doing the whole sitting on the bottom of the pool and Si just having from his eyes up showing pretending he was a crocodile (dont ask) it was soon time for dinner so we walked across the path to the beach house restaurant to refuel.
With our bellies full we headed back to the room for a sit down in front of the fan and to get cleaned up. Si wasn't feeling very well so we thought it was best to have a night in and the lovely people from wrap-a-snapper brought us some food to the room.
When I took the plates back to the restaurant the cat from this morning followed me and we had to put up with the meows for about half an hour again, doesn't seem as loud as this morning though but that's probably cause it hasn't just woke us up .. pesky little thing.
After a few games of angry birds and when Si's paracetamol had kicked in he got tucked in bed for an early night, hopefully sleep it off and feel better in the morning for our last day on Gili T before heading back to Bali.
