Day 12
Woke up and pressed the open blackout curtain button. It is pretty cool to wake up to Vegas strip views in bright sunshine. Buffet breakfast (yep heaps of food) and off to the North Vegas Premium Outlets. Out of all the outlets we have been to I think this one is the best. Between Calvin Klein and Timberland I reckon I saved about $400 and have my clothes and shoe shopping done for another year. It was getting bloody hot and these outlets are not roofed in. They have mist sprayers all over the place to keep you cool. They have a great Tag outlet here, this is where I got my watch last year. As w drove out to the outlets ( only about 5k from the strip) we decided to go back via a Walmart to stock up on water and other necessities ( I am still gobsmacked that you can get 750ml of jim beam 14.99 or Australian yellowtail Shiraz 1L for $11. 12 bottles of 600ml water was $2.50 for the case. Stocked up now off to the tacky tourist souvenir shop to get tacky I love Vegas trinkets. Back to the hotel for rest, drinks, dinner ( buffet) and a relatively early night.
Day Thirteen
We decided to wander down to The Forum Shoppes at Caesars Palace for breakfast. I seem to forget how spectacular bellagio's and Caesar's Palace Casinos are. They are completely over the top. Had breaky at Planet Hollywood. Relaxed for most of the day then headed to MGM Grand to view the lions. Dinner at a brewery in Monte Carlo Casino (burgers again) then off to bed.
