Day 35

We stayed another night at Lennox Head so that we could go to the Medical Centre for Lorna's check up. They were pleased with how it had healed over 24 hours and said that as long as we keep redressing it then it should heal well.

So we decided to head up for a walk along Cape Byron Marine Park as we heard that you could view Humpback Whales migrating at this time of year. We didn't see any whales but we saw a pod of around 8 Dolphins and a really nice view in all directions.

We walked back and saw a Pelican on the beach trying to steal scraps from a fisherman. We couldn't believe how big it was.

Once back at the hostel we had Graeme's famous chocolate cake which was amazing and played Scrabble outside. This was a bad idea as it was the mosquitos big night out and they dined on us. Apparantly the nights special was Lornas Rump Steak.
