Day 11

After 10 days of sight seeing and walking at least 5 miles a day it was time to chill out on the beach. We decided to choose the world famous Bondi; famous for its surfing.

We got the bus to the beach as it was too far to walk, and as we came around the corner at the top of a hill we were overwhelmed by the size and look of the beach.

The were surfers, runners, sunbathers and even body builders on the beach. We just chilled out all day watching surfers and a surf lesson. That provoked Al to start practicing, as he couldn't sit still.

When we arrived back at our hostel, that we had now named 'Hell'. We were minding our own business as Lorna was cooking dinner and Al heard the announcement of free beer at reception...bonus! Our first alcoholic drink in ages, Lorna thought she would be drunk by the end of it. The beer was called Toohey's.
