Day 132-134 Due to Deanna and Aaron kindly giving us a lift we arrived at The Macarthur's 12 hours early. Day 129-131 We had a monsterous trip from Nelson to Waitomo that in total took 28 hours. We left Nelson for Picton at 0830 and had a couple of hours in Picton where we had lunch in a nice cafe/bar for our Anniversary. We then had our ferry to Wellington and once in Wellington we had to kill a couple of hours, so we sat in a hostel restaurant. Day 127-128 We left Greymouth in the afternoon and one of our stops enabled us to have a look around Paparoa National Park's Blow Holes and Pancake Rocks. The coast line we drove up is rated amongst the 10 most beautiful in the world. We arrived in Nelson in the evening and watched 'The Singer' with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony which was based on a true story. Day 125-126 We left Fox Glacier in the morning to travel to Greymouth, which is the largest city on the South Islands West Coast. New Zealand had been having some freakish weather, in the South Island they were experiencing really high winds. Day 123-124 Day 123 was taken up with travelling from Queenstown to Fox Glacier. We had a few stops on the way, namely; Lake Wanaka, Thunder Creek Falls and Knights Point. On the 29th we had our Guided Fox Glacier Tour. Our guide was Jono. We had approximately an hour walk to the glacier and then we were on the glacier for around 1 1/2 hours.
