After coughing for 3 days it just stopped, my nose cleared and my throat no longer felt like sand paper. As San said "I am ready to play!!"
Luckily it has been a long weekend because of the water festival - this is when they celebrate the Tonle Sap reversing it's flow. Next year I will have to be in Phnom Penh as it does look exciting but I must say I have needed a quiet weekend in Pailin.
Yesterday morning I spent washing sheets, breaking washing machines, cleaning the house, shopping and waking Sidney. In the afternoon I went to the Bamboo Restaurant and swam. I then spent a very relaxing hour playing bridge on line and just as I was about to leave, a delightful 6 year old politely asked if I could help her swim. I spent the next half an hour teaching a Japanese girl how to swim, it was such fun. I wish I could bottle her attitude ie listen, try and then try again.
Today I took to the hills and just drove. I felt that I couldn't get lost if I just stayed on the same road and after say half an hour turned around. It was beautiful I saw very few motos and even fewer cars. The road was ok so I just carried on for longer than my half hour when I suddenly realized that I had completed a circle and was nearly back to where I started. I will do it again as I passed a village pagoda that was just stunning and I would like to take a picture of it.
Afternoon spent at the Bamboo restaurant swimming and drinking coffee. It's a hard life.

Jan Glad you are feeling better. Your drive in the hills sounds wonderful.
