Waitomo to Wellington
900km complete and we arrived in Wellington. Traveling isn't always fun....really. We walked into our dorm to be greeted by a floor covered in clothes, a hog sprawled out across one of the beds and another behind a sheet. The only 2 spare beds were on the top bunks and opposite each other. However there was an issue, we couldn't even climb the stairs to them due to small space and rubbish in the way. This room really shouldn't be a 6 bed. Wanting to escape the cattle shed, we heading out to wander the streets of the night. Luckily we came across a night market with some live music so we stood and watched to kill some time. Why is it that when u have been well over budget for the last few days that you want to buy everything in sight? We settled our tastebuds by having a walk around the bakery, sniffing and then buying a tub of hot chocolate and headed back to cesspit.
