Friday, we were up early to catch our taxi to the airport, a hour drive away, our flight was at 12:45 and only last 3 hours. Sunday, we arrived at the train station at 6:30am and had decided we would stay in Anjuna so took a hour taxi to our accommodation. When we arrived everyone was still asleep, so we sat and waited in the common area, not bothered as we were pretty tired ourselves. Eventually the staff emerged and made us breakfast and checked us in.... A non AC room! Wednesday we were up super early for our final drive to Delhi and oh my was it a long one. We drove through a village that had been completely flooded by yesterday's storm leaving us no choice but to drive through with the water coming up over the bike wheels, our feet and the bottom of our bags, we hope we don't get cholera!
