Wednesday, we all woke very tired, we had been woken at 3:00am by others coming home from KTV, poor Llewelyn was very sick so we nursed him for a couple of hours, finally went back to sleep properly around 5:30 then the alarm was off at 7:00! Saturday, We arrived in Shanghai around 19:00 and went straight to our hostel to get ready for our night out on the 'Drunken Dragon Bar Crawl'. We were advised that we were not allowed to wear our flip flops, all Laura had other than flip flops were sports trainers or hiking boots therefore went on a quick shopping spree with Jennifer to find some shoes, all we could find was bloody Marks and Spencers of all places! Thursday, we arrived in Hangzhou at 8:00 after our 16 hour night train, we met our new guide Dexter then caught the MRT to Deqing to catch another train and 1 hour bus to Moganshan, it was worse than it sounds as Laura managed to get a migraine so spent the whole time travelling with a eye mask on, ear plugs in and a emergency plastic bag. Monday, We arrived in Beijing at 6:00 after a 8 hour night train. We were greated by our new guide Luna and taken to our hostel, we all had showers and food then packed a overnight bag for our trip to the Great Wall. At 9:30 Luna took us on a small walking tour of the local area so we could get our bearings, she showed us the bank, where we can buy local breakfast, shopping markets and streets and the ancient city gates, everyone bought supplies for our mini trip...

Saturday we left the hostel at 7:00 and took a 6 hour bus to Deng Feng, home of the Shaolin Temple and Kung Fu. We arrived at 14:00 and were greated by a very lovely family and rather hyper 7 year old! We dropped our bags and were served lunch, a mountain of noodles, way too much food which instantly showed us how hard working the family were into pleasing us.
