Left Siena on lovely day and enjoyed super views leaving the city. Unfortunately the scenery got worse and so did the route. The ground was so wet with clay walking became difficult so we route marched along the road .
Arrived at old hotel which was a monastery. Great room and view. Food ok but yet was a shame few people staying here as it needed numbers to fill out the dining room. Just like in Paradores.
Had a dog barking in next door room but once sorted out we slept well.
