1st half of walk out from Radicofani was lovely in light rain but the fun was about to stop. We made major error in not waiting for a bus at a nice car and started walked along a busy road. Day off and we are both really knackered. Had good lunch of grits mista and veal saltimbocca. Then avg pizza in the evening. The lake is volcanic and incredible. The old town interesting but the highlight is the Ves Conte palace which probably one if the most extraordinary places we have have ever slept in.
